David Tennant returns to the West End
Olivier Award-winner Dominic Cooke (Follies) directs David Tennant (Doctor Who, Good Omens) in Good – a timely and prescient play that invites you to question what a “good” man is and does and where the bounds of responsibility lie.
Set in pre-war Germany, it shows how the average person might be seduced in to actions that we see as abhorrent.
Following his acclaimed performances in Don Juan in Soho, Much Ado About Nothing and Richard II, David Tennant returns to the West End for 12 weeks only in one of Britains most powerful political plays.
Good is booking from 21 June 2021 until 17 July 2021 at the Harold Pinter Theatre, London.
What’s the Story?
John Halder (David Tennant) is a good man. But John Halder must adapt to survive.
How is it possible to be a good person when things are falling apart?
As the world faces its Second World War, John Halder, a decent, intelligent, music-loving German professor, finds himself swept along in a movement that crescendos towards an unthinkable finale. Good is a warning for our times.
