From creators of Cabaret and Chicago, this Tony award-winning backstage murder mystery musical is packed full of catchy songs, unforgettable characters and plot twists galore!

A hilarious whodunnit, Curtains will have you laughing and guessing right to the final curtain.

Curtains is booking from 13 December 2019 until 13 January 2020 at they Wyndham’s Theatre, London.

WHAT’S THE STORY?

It is murder putting on a new musical – literally! Jessica Cranshaw, star of the new Broadway-bound musical Robbin Hood, has been murdered on stage on opening night! The entire cast and crew are suspects. Time to call in the local detective, Frank Cioffi, who just happens to be a huge musical theatre fan. With a nose for crime and an ear for music, Frank has his work cut out trying to find the killer whilst giving the show a lifeline.

The cast is lead by Jason Manford (The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys and Dolls) and Carley Stenson (Les Miserables, Legally Blonde, Shrek, Spamalot and Hollyoaks).

Completing the cast are: Andy Coxon, Rebecca Lock, Samuel Holmes, Leah Barbara West, Alan Burkitt, Martin Callaghan, Emma Caffrey, Nia Jermin, Adam Rhys-Charles, Mark Sangster, Minal Patel, Kate Ivory Jordan, Charlie Johnson, Gleanne Purcell-Brown, Thomas-Lee Kidd, Samuel John-Humphreys and J.R. Ballentyne.

CREATIVE TEAM

Directed by Paul Foster, with choreography by Alistair David, set design by David Woodhead and costume design by Gabriella Slade.

Curtains has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb (“Cabaret” and “Chicago”), book by Rupert Holmes, original book and concept by Peter Stone with additional lyrics by John Kander and Rupert Holmes.
