The West End premiere of Life of Pi sails into the Wyndham’s Theatre in 2021.

Based on one of the most extraordinary and best loved works of fiction, Yann Martel’s Man Booker Prize winning Life of Pi is brought to life on stage in universally acclaimed, smash hit adaptation by Lolita Chakrabarti (Red Velvet).

Featuring breathtaking puppetry and state of the art visuals this epic journey of endurance and hope “will make you believe in the power of theatre” (The Times) long after the curtail falls.

Booking for Life of Pi at the Wyndham’s Theatre, London will open soon.

NOTE: Due to Covid-19, this production has now been postponed to 2021.  Full dates to be announced in due course.

What’s the Story?

After a cargo ship sinks in the middle of the vast Pacific Ocean, there are five survivors stranded on a
lifeboat a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, a Royal Bengal tiger, and a sixteen year old boy named Pi.
Time is against them, nature is harsh, who will survive?

Who’s in it? Life of Pi Cast

The cast is led by Hiran Abeysekera (Find Me In Paris, Peter Pan).

The full cast features Mina Anwar, Sagar Arya, Alex Chang, Fred Davis, Tom Espiner, Kirsten Foster, Daisy Franks, Raj Ghatak, Nuwan Hugh Perera, Romina Hytten, Sarah Kameela Impey, Tom Larkin, David K.S. Tse, Syreeta Kumar, Deeivya Meir, Habib Nasib Nader and Scarlet Wilderink.

Creative Team

Life of Pi is adapted by Lolita Chakrabarti with direction by Max Webster and puppetry design by Nick Barnes and Finn Caldwell.

    I have been trying to get response from the Theatre regarding my tickets for Life of Pi which I purchased for a performance last Sunday but because of Lockdown we couldn’t attend. can you please give me an update regarding my tickets an the show. Many thanks Gabi Tubbs
