Snowflake, Kiln Theatre

Sorry, this show is not currently booking.

Snowflake is an epic story about generational conflict, fathers and daughters, and whether we’re living in the best or worst of times…

Written by Olivier Award-winning and BAFTA-nominated Mike Bartlett (Charles III, Doctor Foster) and directed by Olivier Award-winner Clare Lizzimore (Bull), this critically-acclaimed festive hit makes its London debut at Kiln Theatre this Christmas.

Snowflake is booking from 10 December 2019 until 18 January 2020 at the Kiln Theatre, London.

‘Because Christmas. Well… That’s when they say people come home.’

Andy’s a 43 year old father, who loves nostalgic TV and drinking pints down Kilburn High Road. He hasn’t been in contact with his 21 year old daughter Maya for three years, but this Christmas, Andy thinks Maya is coming home – Maya knows she’s not. In a tale of identities and generational conflict, Snowflake asks whether audiences are living in the best or worst of times.

The cast of Snowflake at the Kiln Theatre to be announced.

Written by Mike Bartlett (Charles III, Doctor Foster), directed by Olivier Award-winner Clare Lizzimore (Bull) with design by Jeremy Herbert, lighting design by Jessica Hung Han Yun and sound design by Elena Peña.

★★★★★ ‘A Christmas cracker. Warm and funny.’ The Times

★★★★ ‘A masterfully written generational clash. Rich in insight, poignancy and optimism.’ The Guardian
