Mrs Doubtfire – The Musical is rumoured to open in London’s West End in late 2022.

A hilarious and heartfelt story about holding onto your loved ones against all odds, Mrs. Doubtfire is a musical comedy based on Anne Fine’s best-selling novel and the 1993 filmMrs Doubtfire starring Robin Williams and Sally Field.

Following its world premiere on Broadway in 2021, Mrs Doubtfire The Musical will make its UK premiere at Manchester Opera House in September 2022, with a London season likely to follow.

The smash-hit stage adaptation isbrought to the stage by four-time Tony Award winning director Jerry Zaks (Hello, Dolly!) and the Tony-nominated creators of Something Rotten!: John O’Farrell, Karey Kirkpatrick and Wayne Kirkpatrick.

What’s the Story?

Out-of-work actor Daniel will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the โ€‹alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father.
