Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s global phenomenon Jesus Christ Superstar returns to London in 2019.
Following two overwhelming sell-out runs at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, acclaimed rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar, will play a limited season at London’s Barbican Theatre from July 2019.
With a legendary score including I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane and Superstar, and musical direction by Tom Deering and choreography by Drew McOnie, experience epic storytelling that has wowed audiences for over 40 years.
Jesus Christ Superstar is booking from 4 July 2019 until 24 August 2019 at the Barbican Theatre, London.
The cast features Robert Tripolino (Jesus), Ricardo Afonso (Judas), Sallay Garnett (Mary), Matt Cardle* (Pilate), Cavin Cornwall (Caiaphas), Nathan Amzi (Caiaphas/Annas), Samuel Buttery (Herod), Tim Newman (Simon) and Matthew Harvey (Peter).
Completing the cast are: Daniel Bailey, Bernadette Bangura, Robert Bannon, Cyrus Brandon, Melanie Bright, Georgia Carling, Dale Evans, Rosie Fletcher, Luke Hall, Simon Hardwick, Zac Hawkins, Dayle Hodge, Stevie Hutchinson, Cleopatra Joseph, Rachel Moran, Billy Nevers, Tinovimbanashe Sibanda and Elliotte Williams-N’Dure.
