Pop-star, actor and presenter Louise Redknapp recently starred as Teen Angel in the West End production of GREASE at the Dominion Theatre in London.
Louise shot to fame in the early 90s as a member of girl-band Eternal. She later launched her solo career in 1995 and released the platinum-selling albums Naked (1996), Woman In Me (1997) and Elbow Beach (2000).
In 2016 Louise reached the final of BBC One Strictly Come Dancing television series which re-energised her career in the entertainment industry. In 2018 she took her Intimate & Live show on the road, which sold out all over the UK, and signed a global publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.
After signing a worldwide recording deal with Warner Music, Louise released her first studio album in 20 years, Heavy Love, and announced her first non-fiction book, Sunday Times Best Seller You Got This in August 2020.
In 2017 Louise made her stage debut starring as Sally Bowles in the National Tour of Cabaret, with Will Young. She also starred in 9 to 5 The Musical at the Savoy Theatre in London.
Since then, she joined the cast of Fatal Attraction directed by Loveday Ingram and signed to BMG Music worldwide.
On Screen, Louise played Ray Winstone’s wife Irene in Tim Lewiston’s feature film The Hot Potato. In addition to her performance on BBC One Strictly Come Dancing, Louise has presented television shows and has been a judge on So You Think You Can Dance. Louise’s work as a presenter also includes the documentaries The Truth about Size Zero and Something For The Weekend.
