ABOUT PHYLLIS LOGAN
Phyllis Logan will star as Patricia Highsmith in the award-winning psychological thriller Switzerland which opens at the Ambassadors Theatre this November.
Phyllis Logan is well-known for her role as Mrs Hughes in the award-winning ITV series Downton Abbey and will be fondly remembered by some as Lady Jane Felsham in Lovejoy.

Phyllis Logan plays the renowned author Patricia Highsmith, one of the great writers of the 20th century who was famed for writing, Strangers On A Train, The Talented Mr Ripley and The Price of Salt.

Film roles include, her award-winning (BAFTA & Evening Standard) performance in Another Time Another Place, and the popular film Secrets & Lies.
What is Switzerland about?
Set in the Swiss Alps in 1995, the thriller focuses on a man who is sent to persuade the great crime writer (Patricia Highsmith) to pen one final instalment of her best-selling series featuring Tom Ripley, the master manipulator. It becomes clear however the charming stranger has a far more sinister mission.
What ensues is a gripping play for power and control, worthy of Highsmith’s pen.
Switzerland will run from 10 November 2018 to 5 January 2019 at the Ambassadors Theatre in London.
