Classic Hollywood film All About Eve comes to the West End in a new stage adaptation starring Gillian Anderson and Lily James.
Based on the 1950 Academy Award-winning film starring Bette Davis, Gillian Anderson will deliver the iconic line ‘Fasten your seatbelts. It’s going to be a bumpy night!’ when she takes on the role of Margo Channing with rising star Lily James (Baby Driver, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) playing the ultimate schemer Eve Harrington.
Lifting the curtain on a world of jealousy and ambition, this new production from Ivo van Hove, one of the world’s most innovative theatre directors, asks why our fascination with celebrity, youth and identity never seems to get old.
All About Eve will run from 2 February 2019 until 11 May 2019 at the Noel Coward Theatre, London.
WHAT’S THE STORY?
When a helpful young fan insinuates herself into the life of ageing Broadway star Margo Channing, little does she realise the threat Eve Harrington poses to her career and personal life.
WHO’S IN IT? ALL ABOUT EVE CAST
