The 39 Steps at the Criterion Theatre is a riotously funny and madcap adaptation of John Buchan’s classic novel and Alfred Hitchcock’s film.
Alfred Hitchcock’s classic spy thriller The 39 Steps is brilliantly and hilariously recreated on stage in this smash-hit show.
This blissfully funny comedy follows the incredible adventures of our handsome hero Richard Hannay, complete with stiff-upper-lip, British gung-ho and pencil moustache as he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents, and, of course, devastatingly beautiful women.
A wonderfully inventive and gripping comedy thriller, the show features four fearless actors playing 139 roles in 100 minutes of fast-paced fun and thrilling action!
The 39 Steps runs until 5 September 2015 at the Criterion Theatre, London.

I saw this last night, sorry i cant say what the second half was like
because i could not bring myself to watch another 45 mins of it, all i can
say is it MUST of got better. Also due to lack of theatre style seating in
the stalls at the criterion, if the person sat in front of you is taller,
you are not going to see it anyway .
