Andrew Scott stars as Hamlet at the Harold Pinter Theatre
Olivier Award-winning director, Robert Icke’s ground-breaking and electrifying production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, starring BAFTA and Olivier Award winner Andrew Scott (Sherlock, Birdland, Cock, Pride) as the Danish Prince and Jessica Brown Findlay as Ophelia transfers to the West End, following a critically acclaimed run at the Almeida Theatre.
Hamlet is booking from 9 June 2017 until 29 August 2017 at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
STORY
Andrew Scott takes on the title role in Shakespeare’s great tragedy. Forced to avenge his father’s death but paralysed by the task ahead, Hamlet rages against the impossibility of his predicament, threatening both his sanity and the security of the state.
