About Mamma Mia The Musical
On the eve of her wedding, Sophie Sheridan has one wish: to have her father walk her down the aisle. The only problem? She doesn’t know who he is. After secretly reading her mother Donna’s old diary, Sophie invites three men from Donna’s past to the island. convinced that one of them must be her dad.
What follows is a glorious comedy of mistaken identity, old flames reignited, and long-buried secrets brought blinking into the Mediterranean sunshine. At its heart, Mamma Mia! is a story about the bond between mothers and daughters, the complicated nature of love, and the power of a truly great pop song to make everything feel possible.
