About Dawn French
Dawn French will make her pantomime debut this Christmas playing The Wicked Queen in the West End production of Snow White.
A stalwart of the British comedy scene for over 30 years, Dawn French is an actor, writer, and comedienne best known for comedy sketch show French and Saunders and for playing the lead role in the sitcom Vicar of Dibley. Nominated for seven BAFTA awards, Dawn was awarded a BAFTA Fellowship in 2009 with her longtime comedy partner Jennifer Saunders.
Dawn studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama where she met her comedy partner Jennifer Saunders.

Dawn’s film work includes Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and she provided the voice for the character Mrs. Beaver in Disney’s film adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the role of Angie the Elephant in the environmental animated film Animals United.
