Martin McDonagh’s hit new play Hangmen transfers to the Wyndham’s theatre
Following a sell out run at the Royal Court Theatre, the universally acclaimed production of multi-award-winning Martin McDonagh’s first UK play in over 10 years transfers to Wyndham’s Theatre for a strictly limited season.
Matthew Dunster directs as original cast members David Morrissey and Johnny Flynn reprise their roles.
Hangmen plays a limited season from 1 December 2015 until 5 March 2016 at the Wyndham’s Theatre.

In his small pub in Oldham, Harry is something of a local celebrity. But what’s the second-best hangman in England to do on the day they’ve abolished hanging? Amongst the cub reporters and sycophantic pub regulars dying to hear Harry’s reaction to the news, a peculiar stranger lurks, with a very different motive for his visit.

The cast includes Josef Davies, James Dryden, Johnny Flynn, Graeme Hawley, Ralph Ineson, Bronwyn James, David Morrissey, Ryan Pope, Sally Rogers, Simon Rouse and Reece Shearsmith.
Martin McDonagh’s play Hangmen, is directed by Matthew Dunster, with design by Anna Fleischle, lighting by Joshua Carr and sound by Ian Dickinson.
