Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has announced the first cast for its reimagined one-part production, as the original two-part staging enters its final week after a record-breaking ten-year run. The two-part production plays its final performance on Saturday 20 September, and will recommence as the reimagined one-part version on 9 October 2026.

Sonia Friedman Productions, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions have revealed the first cast who will take to the stage in the reimagined Harry Potter and the Cursed Child one-part production, which begins performances on 9 October at the Palace Theatre. The announcement comes as the sold-out original two-part production concluding a historic, record-breaking ten-year run.

Cast members David Ricardo-Pearce, Thomas Aldridge and Naana Agyei Ampadu will continue on as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger respectively. They will be joined by new cast members Ethan Rouse as Albus Potter, Zoë Rainey as Ginny Potter and Hasia Akwaboah as Rose Granger-Weasley. Adam Jackson-Smith will play Draco Malfoy, with Bill Stanley joining as his son Scorpius Malfoy.
