Popular TV/radio broadcaster Vernon Kay is set to star in Sleeping Beauty at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre this festive season. He returns to the stage following his award-winning debut in 2023, which saw him crowned Best Newcomer at the UK Pantomime Awards.
Produced by the award-winning Imagine Theatre, Sleeping Beauty arrives at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley, just in time for Christmas. Packed with dazzling costumes, side-splitting comedy and more, this is fun for the whole family.
TV and radio broadcaster Vernon Kay will star as Billy in the upcoming production.
On today’s announcement, Kay said: ‘Once you’ve caught the panto bug, there’s no going back! I absolutely loved my time in High Wycombe, so when the chance came to head to Bromley this Christmas it was an easy ‘yes’.
‘I love the madness of panto – the singing, the laughs, the audience shouting back at you, and seeing families make Christmas memories together. I’m already counting down the days and promise we’ll have plenty of fun. Oh yes we will!’
The production will run at the Bromley venue from 05 December 2026 – 03 January 2027.
