Adrian Lester reprises his role as the titular Cyrano, a poet and soldier fearless with words but less brave when his heart is on the line. Also reprising their roles from the RSC production are Susannah Fielding as Roxane and Levi Brown as Christian de Neuvillette respectively.
Cyrano de Bergerac, originally published by Edmond Rostand in 1897, has been adapted for this exciting new production by Simon Evans and Debris Stevenson. Evans also directs.

Screen and stage veteran Adrian Lester stars as the titular character, Cyrano, a poet, soldier and philosopher haunted by his appearance. When the woman he loves falls for a handsome suitor who struggles with his words, Cyrano gives him a voice. But it may very well destroy him.
This thrilling tale of love and longing has been highly anticipated since its transfer from the RSC was announced. Critics praised the production, raving about Lester’s performance and the overall production.
This classic play presents a romantic and funny story that is thrilling and heartbreaking in equal measure.
