A new cast album has been released for the current revival of David Hare’s play Teeth ‘n’ Smiles.
Teeth ‘n’ Smiles finishes its West End run tomorrow, 6 June 2026, at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London.
The production, directed by Daniel Raggett, marks the play’s 50th anniversary and features Rebecca Lucy Taylor, also known as Self Esteem, in the role of Maggie Frisby. The story centres on Maggie, a former voice of 1960s counterculture, who is now broke, jaded and facing the possible collapse of her band.
The show includes music by Nick Bicât and lyrics by Tony Bicât, with additional new music and lyrics contributed by Rebecca Lucy Taylor. The production also marks Taylor’s West End play debut.
Rebecca Lucy Taylor leads the cast as Maggie, joined by Phil Daniels (Quadrophenia, House of the Dragon) as Sarrafian, and Michael Fox (The Fear of 13, Downton Abbey) as Arthur.
The cast also includes Bill Caple as Nash, Michael Abubakar as Wilson, Samuel Jordan as Smegs, Jojo Macari as Peyote, Noah Weatherby as Inch, Joseph Evans as Randolph, Aysha Kala as Laura, Christopher Patrick Nolan as Snead, and Roman Asde as Anson. The company is completed by Gregor Milne, Damien James, Levi Heaton, Guy Amos and Daniel Crespin.
The creative team features set design by Chloe Lamford, costume design by Alex Mullins, lighting design by Matt Daw, sound design by Ben and Max Ringham, and music supervision by Liam Godwin. Bryony Jarvis-Taylor serves as casting director, with George Jibson as associate director.

Arcadia & RENT at the Duke of York’s Theatre
Following Teeth ‘n’ Smiles, up next at the Duke of York’s Theatre is The Old Vic’s acclaimed revival of Tom Stoppard’s drama Arcadia.
Starring Isis Hainsworth, Arcadia is running in the West End from 20 June to 12 September 2026.
Arcadia is followed by a major new production of Jonathan Larson’s musical RENT at the Duke of York’s Theatre, from 26 September 2026.
Directed by Luke Sheppard, RENT will feature Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo.
