Directed by the Kiln’s artistic director Amit Sharma, Tom Wright’s new play is the true story of the Beatles’ first manager Brian Epstein – often called the ‘Fifth Beatle’.
The cast also features Noah Ritter (Running Man) as John; William Robinson (Bacon) as Peter / Mike; and Arthur Wilson (Here There are Blueberries) as Geoffrey / Harry.
In Please Please Me, when Brian Epstein steps into the Cavern Club, he finds more than just a band – he finds his life’s calling. Captivated by the charismatic frontman, John Lennon, Brian sets out to make the Fab Four the most famous group on earth. But beyond the spotlight, he wrestles with gay secrets, longing, and love.
