This radical interpretation of Shakespeare’s famous tale of two “star-cross’d lovers”, is one of the year’s most hotly-anticipated events, with stellar performances from Sadie Sink (Stranger Things, John Proctor is the Villian) and Noah Jupe (Hamnet, A Quiet Place) – both making their West End debuts.
Romeo & Juliet: Cast and creatives

The cast also includes Clare Perkins (The Wheel of Time, Player Kings) as Nurse, Kasper Hilton-Hille (Dear England, Troilus & Cressida) as Mercutio, John Marquez (Doc Martin, Pygmalion) as Fria Laurence and Clark Gregg (Good Night, and Good Luck, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) as Capulet.
Directed by Robert Icke (Oresteia, Oedipus, The Doctor), the emotionally-charged production brings visceral energy to the play, emphasising the duo’s youthful sexuality and heavy role chance plays in the tragic plot.
