The Southbank Centre has today unveiled the initial line-up for Harry Styles’ Meltdown, marking a major highlight of the venue’s 75th anniversary year.

Taking place from 11–21 June 2026, the festival sees Styles curate a wide-ranging programme that spans the Southbank’s multi-venue site. The line-up features a mix of electronic, jazz, pop, and experimental artists, reflecting Styles’ own musical passions.

Harry Styles to headline Royal Festival Hall

In addition to his role as curator, Harry Styles will take to the stage for a headline show at the Royal Festival Hall on 16 June 2026. While full details of the performance are being kept under wraps for now, the Southbank Centre has confirmed that further information and ticket details for this specific gig will be announced soon.

The First Acts Confirmed

  • Friday 12 June: Stephen Fretwell in the Purcell Room, followed by a late-night set from Ninajirachi in the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer. Shabaka Hutchings will lead a collaborative performance in the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
  • Saturday 13 June: Dreamy pop from Erika de Casier at the Royal Festival Hall and a genre-blurring set by Fousheé in the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
  • Sunday 14 June: Kamasi Washington presents two distinct shows at the Royal Festival Hall: Jazz Legends Reimagined and Fearless Movement Live. Nilüfer Yanya performs in the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
  • Tuesday 16 June: Getdown Services at the Purcell Room and Harry Styles at the Royal Festival Hall.
  • Wednesday 17 June: Ethio-jazz pioneer Mulatu Astatke at the Royal Festival Hall.
  • Thursday 18 June: Beverly Glenn-Copeland at the Royal Festival Hall and bar italia at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
  • Friday 19 June: A solo performance by Orlando Weeks and a special set from the Devonté Hynes Ensemble featuring Adam Tendler, Cæcilie Trier, and Tariq Al-Sabir.
  • Saturday 20 June: Yussef Dayes at the Royal Festival Hall and Jon Hopkins (joined by Maddie Ashman and Leo Abrahams) at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. James Murphy will close the evening with a late-night set in the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer.

Commenting on the reveal, Harry Styles said:

“Music is my life, every artist involved in this year’s Meltdown festival means so much to me, both as a fan, and a musician. It’s a true honour to host legends who have paved the way for the generations that follow them, as well as new acts that have inspired me to push my creative boundaries.”

Mark Ball, Artistic Director of the Southbank Centre, added that the line-up speaks to Styles’ “deep curiosity” and “care and intent,” promising a classic Meltdown experience for its 75th anniversary year.

75 Years of Culture

Styles is the 31st curator of the prestigious festival, joining a legacy of past leads including Little Simz (2025), Chaka Khan (2024), Grace Jones, and David Bowie.

The festival sits alongside a massive anniversary programme at the Southbank Centre, including Dua Lipa’s London Literature Festival and Danny Boyle’s You Are Here site takeover. A free programme of participatory events, featuring Styles’ favorite non-musical artists and family workshops, will also run throughout the festival dates.

  • General Sale: Friday 10 April
