Full casting confirmed for 10th-anniversary production as West End favourite Dan Partridge joins Carrie Hope Fletcher and Les Dennis
The diner is finally fully staffed. Producers of the upcoming 2026 tour of Waitress have announced the final names joining the cast, with Dan Partridge, Mark Anderson, and Mark Wilshire set to complete the principal lineup for the musical’s ten-year anniversary tour of the UK and Ireland.
Partridge, a West End regular recently seen as Danny Zuko in Grease and Charlie Price in the UK tour of Kinky Boots, will take on the role of the infatuated Dr Pomatter. He is joined by Anderson (Phil Spector in Tina – The Tina Turner Musical) as the eccentric Ogie and Wilshire as Earl, Jenna’s stifling husband, a role he covered in the West End production. Carrie Hope Fletcher will star as Jenna at select venues.

The production, which opens at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 28 March 2026, has assembled a cast that leans heavily on established West End favourites. Alongside Fletcher, the production features Les Dennis as the curmudgeonly Joe, Sandra Marvin (& Juliet) as Becky and Evelyn Hoskins (42 Balloons), who reprises her acclaimed turn as the socially anxious Dawn. Dan O’Brien (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical) also joins the company as the stressed-out short-order cook, Cal.
Completing the tour cast are Will Arundell, Yochabel Asante, Alice Croft, Jamie Doncaster, Daniel George-Wright, Will Hardy, Bayley Hart, Olivia Lallo, Emma Lucia, David Mairs-McKenzie and Ellie Ruiz Rodriguez.

Waitress – New UK tour cast announced for 2026
Ten Years of “Sugar, Butter, Flour”
Since its 2016 Broadway debut at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, Waitress has evolved from a cult hit into a global staple of the musical theatre canon. Based on the 2007 film by Adrienne Shelly and featuring a score by Sara Bareilles, the show’s enduring appeal lies in its unusually grounded portrayal of domestic entrapment and female friendship.
The 2026 tour finds the production under the continued direction of Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus. Paulus is currently enjoying a heightened profile in New York with Masquerade, her immersive spin-off of The Phantom of the Opera, but her return to the world of Joe’s Diner suggests a production that remains a priority for the creative team.
