David Suchet stars as Lady Bracknell in Oscars Wilde’s much loved masterpiece The Importance of Being Earnest at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Directed by Adrian Noble, this West End revival of Wilde’s classic comedy of false identities and true love is a superb satire of Victorian manners.

Famously portrayed by Edith Evans, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Penelope Keith, Geoffrey Rush and Brian Bedford it is David Suchet who will be uttering Lady Bracknell’s immortal words “a handbag” with the utmost astonishment and disgust.

The West End revival of the Importance of Being Earnest comes to the Vaudeville Theatre for a strictly limited run from 24 June 2015 – 7 November 2015
