There has been a cast change at the Kiln Theatre’s new musical Coven.
Diana Vickers (I Wish You Well -The Gwyneth Paltrow Ski-Trial Musical) has been starring as Edmund/Covell in the show, but has now withdrawn from the production due to unforeseen personal circumstances.
Vickers is being replaced by Bobbie Little (Military Wives The Musical) as Edmund/Covell, with performances restarting at the Kiln from 2 January 2026, and running until 17 January 2026.
The cast of Coven also stars Allyson Ava-Brown (Hamilton), Rachel Barnes (Grapes of Wrath), Gabrielle Brooks (Get Up Stand Up, Shadow and Bone), Shiloh Coke (Chiaroscuro), Rosalind Ford (In Clay), Alice Gruden (Honeymoon in Vegas), Penny Layden (The Ocean at the End of the Lane), Holly Mallett (Are You Ready to Rock?), Lauryn Redding (Standing at the Sky’s Edge), Kathryn Tindall (Mamma Mia! The Party), and Jacinta Whyte (Juno and the Paycock), with Jennifer Whyte (Les Misérables) on keys.
Directed by Olivier Award winner Miranda Cromwell, Coven is written by Rebecca Brewer and Grammy Award winner Daisy Chute.

Coven reimagines the spirit of the Pendle Witch Trials for a contemporary audience. Set in 1612 Lancashire, the musical follows nine-year-old Jennet, whose accusation of witchcraft against her own family changes her life forever. Twenty-one years later, she finds herself imprisoned alongside the women she once condemned, forced to confront her past and the legacy of her actions.
The creative team also includes Jasmine Swan (design), Zeynep Kepekli (lighting), Helen Atkinson (sound), Jennifer Whyte (musical supervision), Shelley Maxwell (choreography), Laura Cubitt (puppetry direction), Hazel Holder (voice coach), Rosie Pearson (casting), and Tom Wright (dramaturg).
Coven is playing at the Kiln Theatre until 17 January 2026.
