New casting has been announced for hit West End musical Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in London.

Cabaret is now playing at the Kit Kat Club in London, and recently extended booking to 26 September 2026.

New casting announced for the show is Matt Willis (Busted, Wicked) as The Emcee, and Katie Hall (Les Misérables) as Sally Bowles.

Katie Hall and Matt Willis will start performances on 26 January 2026, playing until 23 May 2026.

Katie Hall recently starred as Fantine in Les Misérables for its 40th anniversary run at the Sondheim Theatre, and has previously played Cosette in the show. Katie’s other theatre credits include Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and Johanna in Sweeney Todd.

Matt Willis rose to fame as a founding member of pop-rock band Busted. His theatre credits include Fiyero in Wicked, Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors and Nick Hurley in Flashdance. He is also a winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The stars of Cabaret

The show currently stars Grammy Award winner Reeve Carney (Hadestown, Gucci) as The Emcee, double Tony Award nominee and Grammy Award winner Eva Noblezada (Cabaret, The Great Gatsby) as Sally Bowles. The couple, who got married in October, leave the show on 24 January 2026.

Cabaret also stars Ian Charleson Award nominee Baker Mukasa (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical) as Clifford Bradshaw, Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall (Les Misérables) as Fraulein Schneider, Olivier Award nominee Robert Hands (Come From Away) as Herr Schultz and Lucas Koch (Evita) as Ernst Ludwig.

The cast also features Joe Atkinson, Xavion Campbell-Brown, Olivia-Rose Deer, Anya Ferdinand, Danny Fogarty, Manu Sarswat, Tom Scanlon and Eva-Rose Tanaka, with Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, alongside Adrian Grove, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri and Lucy Young.

The prologue company are Rachel Benson, Ami Benton, Joseph Hardy, James Hastings, Andrew Linnie, Dak Mashava, Nethra Menon, Oluwatosin Omotosho, Jack William Parry, Jazmyn Raikes and Kristin Wei Wong.

From 9 February 2026, a new Prologue Company joins the show, featuring Isobel Bates, Jonathan Charles, Shanelle Clemenson, Zara Liu, Brian James O’Sullivan and Shiho Yokoyama.

Cabaret 4th birthday

Cabaret is also celebrating its 4th birthday in London, and now going into its fifth year in London.

The show started previews at the Kit Kat Club on 15 November 2021, and officially opened on 12 December 2021.

Earlier this year, the production marked its 1,500th London performance with a gala performance attended by celebrities and former lead cast. That means that this production of Cabaret is the longest running production of the show in West End history.

Directed by Rebecca Frecknall (A Streetcar Named Desire), Cabaret is winner of a record-breaking 7 Olivier Awards, and boasts an iconic score, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and a book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood.

The creative team also includes set and costume design by Tom Scutt, and choreography by Julia Cheng. Musical supervision is by Jennifer Whyte and musical direction is by Ben van Tienen, with lighting design by Isabella Byrd and sound design by Nick Lidster. The casting director is Stuart Burt and the original associate director and prologue director is Jordan Fein. The prologue composer and musical director is Angus MacRae.
