Emmy Award-winning Irish vocal group The Shamrocks will tour the UK for the first time in 2026. The 12-date run includes a special one-night-only performance in London’s West End.
The tour opens at Birmingham Symphony Hall on 17 October and concludes with a homecoming show at Belfast’s SSE Arena on 20 November. Along the way, the group will bring their celebrated blend of traditional Irish music, soaring harmonies and Belfast charm to major venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, including a West End date at the Cambridge Theatre on 19 October 2026.
The Shamrocks are made up of brothers Jack and Raymond Walsh (Les Misérables), brothers Jimmy and Nathan Johnston (Babies – A New Born Musical), and Matthew Campbell (Choir of Man, Australia). The five-piece, previously known as The Shamrock Tenors, earned rave reviews for their sold-out West End debut at the Adelphi Theatre last year.
Audiences can expect reimagined Irish favourites such as Danny Boy, The Wild Rover and Whiskey in the Jar, alongside original material rooted in Irish musical traditions. The group say their goal is to recreate the atmosphere of an unforgettable Belfast pub session on every stage they visit.
Raymond Walsh said: “When The Shamrocks perform, we always want it to feel like you’ve walked into a Belfast pub and stumbled across the best live music session you’ve ever been part of. You’ll laugh, cry and experience every emotion in between — and you’ll leave with a smile, a spring in your step, and the feeling you’ve had a great night out in Ireland.”
The tour announcement follows a standout year for the group, in which they headlined the BBC’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations from Belfast’s Ulster Hall. The broadcast aired across the UK, Ireland and the US, where it went on to win two regional Emmy Awards, including Best Entertainment Programme. The Shamrocks also performed live to 10 million viewers on America’s Today Show from Times Square.
With more than 100 million online views and performances in over 30 countries, The Shamrocks continue to bring a fresh, modern energy to the Irish songbook as they share their music with audiences around the world.
