Production photos of Lord of the Flies at Sadler’s Wells Theatre and UK Tour
Matthew Bourne’s touring production of Lord of the Flies visited London last week at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
Bourne and his New Adventures dance company have created an exciting new show based on William Golding’s classic novel, moving the action from a deserted island to a deserted theatre.
Lord of the Flies is choreographed by Scott Ambler, with set and costume design by Olivier Award-winner Lez Brotherston and music by Terry Davies. The show is adapted and directed by Matthew Bourne and Scott Ambler.
The UK tour of Lord of the Flies continues with: CARDIFF WALES MILLENNIUM CENTRE (22 October 2014 – 25 October 2014), NEWCASTLE THEATRE ROYAL (5 November 2014 – 8 November 2014), NORWICH THEATRE ROYAL (19 November 2014 – 22 November 2014) and BRADFORD ALHAMBRA (3 December 2014 – 6 December 2014).
In other New Adventures news, Matthew Bourne will bring his acclaimed production of Edward Scissorhands back to Sadler’s Wells this Christmas.
