Grammy and Emmy Award nominee Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story, 30 Rock) and Tony Award nominee John-Andrew Morrison (Blues for an Alabama Sky, The Last OG) will join the cast of the Tony Award-winning comedy Oh, Mary! on Broadway this autumn.

The pair begin performances on 14 October 2025, with Jackson as Mary’s Teacher and Morrison as Mary’s Husband, alongside Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski as Mary Todd Lincoln for a limited eight-week run to 7 December 2025 at the Lyceum Theatre.

Written by 2025 Tony Award-winner Cole Escola and directed by fellow Tony winner Sam Pinkleton, Oh, Mary! opened in July 2024 and quickly became a record-breaking hit, grossing over $1 million in a single week for the first time in the Lyceum Theatre’s 121-year history. The show has since extended multiple times and is now booking until July 2026.

Jackson and Morrison’s arrival follows the departure of current stars Jinkx Monsoon, Kumail Nanjiani and Michael Urie, who play their final performances on September 28, 2025. Previous cast members include Titus Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmitt), Conrad Ricamora (How to Get Away with Murder) & Betty Gilpin (Glow).

While Oh, Mary! continues its sold-out Broadway run, it is widely rumoured that the comedy will make its way to London’s West End. No official announcement has been made, but the buzz around a UK transfer remains strong.
