The Actors’ Church in Covent Garden has unveiled its 2025 Theatre in the Garden season, promising an exciting lineup of open-air theatre in the heart of London.

The season features a diverse array of productions, from Shakespearean classics to beloved literary adaptations, offering entertainment for all ages in the church’s picturesque gardens.

The summer-long programme kicks off on 4 July 2025 with A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Alice Through the Looking Glass, and The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck, setting the stage for an eclectic mix of drama, comedy, and family-friendly shows. The season will see the return of Shakespeare in the Squares with The Taming of the Shrew, alongside new interpretations of Vanity Fair, Sense and Sensibility, and Pride and Prejudice. Audiences can also enjoy immersive stagings of Henry V and Macbeth, as well as the enchanting storytelling of The Secret Garden and The Wind in the Willows.

Set against the stunning backdrop of St Paul’s Church, Theatre in the Garden has become a staple of London’s outdoor theatre scene, blending timeless stories with the unique atmosphere of Covent Garden’s historic setting.
