The Hunchback of Notre Dame – A Spectacular Concert Event starring Ben Joyce, Zachary James, Christine Allado, Dex Lee & Adam Strong

For the first time ever, The Hunchback of Notre Dame will be performed in concert in London’s West End. With three exclusive performances at the Prince Edward Theatre, this unmissable event celebrates the beloved story and its soaring, symphonic score.

Step into the grandeur of Notre Dame Cathedral as Victor Hugo’s timeless tale of love, power, and redemption is brought to life in an epic concert experience. This one-night-only West End premiere promises an evening of passionate performances, breathtaking melodies, and musical splendour.

Featuring the beloved songs from the 1996 Disney animated film with additional songs, the musical boasts a breathtaking score by legendary composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pocahontas) and a book by Peter Parnell. Prepare to be swept away by iconic songs, such as “Out There,” “God Help the Outcasts,” “The Bells of Notre Dame,” “Heaven’s Light,” and “Hellfire.”

Performed by a full orchestra, choir, and an all-star West End cast including Ben Joyce (Back to the Future) as Quasimodo, Zachary James (Hadestown) as Claude Frollo and Christine Allado (Hamilton) as Esmeralda, this is a rare opportunity to experience Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame like never before.

Performances will take place at the Prince Edward Theatre, London, on Sunday 17 August 2025 at 3pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday 24 August 2025 at 6pm.

Set against the grand backdrop of 15th-century Paris, the musical follows Quasimodo, the deformed but kind-hearted bell-ringer of Notre Dame Cathedral, as he longs to experience the world beyond his tower. When he defies his tyrannical guardian Judge Claude Frollo and ventures into the city streets, he forms an unexpected friendship with the courageous Esmeralda, a free-spirited Romani woman who fights for justice. As tensions rise between the city’s outcasts and those in power, Quasimodo must find the strength to stand up for what is right and discover where he truly belongs.
