Jacqueline Wilson’s Hetty Feather comes to the Duke of York’s theatre this summer in a show packed with live music and circus.
A huge success in the West End and on tour in 2014, this imaginative stage adaptation by Emma Reeves of Jacqueline Wilson’s much-loved book comes to the Duke of York’s Theatre for a limited season (from 6 August 2015 to 6 September 2015).
Featuring live music, circus skills and a hugely talented cast, follow plucky heroine Hetty Feather as she escapes from the Foundling Hospital and embarks on a series of thrilling adventures.
Directed by Olivier Award nominee Sally Cookson, the show is produced by William Archer and Kenny Wax in association with Novel Theatre and Rose Theatre Kingston.
Includes Phoebe Thomas as Hetty Feather, Matt Costain, Sarah Goddard, Nikki Warwick, Mark Kane and Nik Howden.
Roll up and join Hetty on her escape from the Foundling Hospital. Tremble as she faces Matron Stinking Bottomly. Thrill as she discovers the squirrel house and Tanglefields Travelling Circus.
Gasp as she endures a night locked in the attic. Quake as she braves the scary streets of Victorian London and cheer as she overcomes all in her search to find her real mother and a true family of her own.
