A showdown is happening at the Globe Theatre this summer as Shakespeare’s greatest love story collides with the brutal world of the Wild West in a thrilling new production of Romeo and Juliet.
An ancient grudge runs deep. When the heirs of two warring families fall in love, their passion ignites a powder keg of violence. Saloon brawls, frenzied parties, and deadly gunfights unravel a town on the brink of destruction, where justice is rough, and love comes at a fatal cost.
Directed by Sean Holmes (Much Ado About Nothing, The Comedy of Errors), this bold reimagining of Romeo and Juliet captures the reckless energy of youth against the backdrop of a lawless frontier.
Romeo and Juliet runs from 25 April to 2 August 2025 at the Globe Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, London.
