Shakespeare’s late tragic comedy of love and rebellion is performed in the intimate candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, directed by Jennifer Tang (Further Than The Furthest Thing).

A hugely talented cast includes Gabrielle Brooks (Once on This Island) as Innogen and Martina Laird (Casualty) as Cymbeline, alongside Aaron Anthony as Guiderius and Lord, Madeline Appiah as Woman, Cornelia, and Belaria, Nigel Barrett as Lucius and Philario, Amanda Bright as Pisania, Silas Carson as Duke and Frenchman, Angelina Chudi as Ensemble and Cover, Nadi Kemp-Sayfi as Posthumus Leonata, Jordan Mifsúd as Cloten, Pierro Niel-Mee as Iachimo, and Saroja-Lily Ratnavel as Lady Helen and Arviraga.

Joining Jennifer Tang in the creative team are: Design by Basia Bińkowska, movement direction by Chi-San Howard, fight and intimacy direction by Rae and Roo from RC Annie, voice coach by Charlie Hughes-D’Aeth, candlelight design by Azusa Ono, casting by Becky Paris. Assistant directo is Charlotte Vickers. Music composed by Laura Moody, Si Trinder is text consultant, and Carol Cumberbatch is the wellbeing practitioner.

Cymbeline is playing until 9 April 2025 at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Shakespeare’s Globe London.
