StarKid to play the London Palladium in May 2024, Extra matinee performance added [Updated]

YouTube musical theatre sensation StarKid are making their UK debuts this May, coming to the West End’s London Palladium for one day only in It’s StarKid Innit?

Playing the Palladium on the evening of 12 May 2024, due to unprecedented demand producers of the show have now added an extra matinee performance on that day.

The hit viral theatre company scored a huge success with A Very Potter Musical in 2009 and haven’t stopped since, delivering a succession of witty, bonkers parodies of everything from Disney to Batman.

They have also played 3 US concert tours, had a Number One album on the Billboard Charts, and attended dozens of conventions all over the world.

Starring in the Palladium show will be StarKid legends Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter, Jaime Lyn Beatty, Brian Holden, Meredith Stepien, Jeff Blim, Corey Dorris, and Clark Baxtresser, performing numbers from StarKid’s extensive catalogue of over 15 full-length musicals.

The show, called It’s StarKid Innit?, is produced by Lambert Jackson and will play the Palladium for matinee and evening performances on 12 May 2024.

Tickets for the evening performance are now sold out; tickets to the extra matinee performance will go on sale Friday 16 February at 10am

Joey Richter
Joey is an actor, writer, producer, founding member of Starkid Productions, & proud graduate of the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). Jeff Blim
Jeff made his StarKid debut in 2012’s “Holy Musical B@man!” Most recently, Jeff appeared in and composed the music/lyrics for the “Hatchetfield” series, which includes “The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals,” “Black Friday,” “Nightmare Time” (Seasons 1 & 2), “Workin’ Boys,” and “Nerdy Prudes Must Die.” He’s excited to continue his work as songwriter for the upcoming musical “Cinderella’s Castle.” Television credits include: S.W.A.T., 9-1-1, VEEP, APB, & Chicago Med. Jaime Lyn Beatty
In addition to her work with Team Starkid, Jaime Lyn has served as a writer/host for digital shows on Netflix and Google. Recent credits include, “FIVE” (Off-Broadway) ‘Stranger Sings’ (Off-Broadway), The Write Out Loud Concert, a guest appearance on iCarly (Nickelodeon), and a handful of national commercials. Catch Jaime Lyn as the voice of Professor Birthday on TikTok and season one of the musical podcast “Professor Birthday Isn’t Famous” created by Eric Kahn Gale with original music by Clark Baxtresser. Last but not least, Geri Halliwell is the superior Spice Girl. Fight me.

Corey Dorris
Corey is a graduate of The Juilliard School and The University of Michigan. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he is an actor and teaching artist. Television credits include The Grinder, Stuck In The Middle, and Station 19. He recently performed in Nerdy Prudes Must Die, the third full production from Starkid’s Hatchetfield Series.

Meredith Stepien
Meredith is a comedian, musician, and producer who lives in Chicago with her husband Brian and her dog Luna. She’s been performing with Starkid for 13 years! She even wrote the music for Starkid’s musical, Firebringer, with her music partner Mark! In her current season of life, she’s prioritizing coziness and family. She’s really into creating weekly vlogs for her YouTube channel, and occasionally performing with her friends! She loves London and is so happy to be singing some songs here again!

Clark Baxtresser
Clark is a composer living in Chicago. He has worked on over a dozen StarKid projects as a composer, music director, pianist, and (occasionally) actor. Most recently, he wrote and performed in VHS Christmas Carol (2020-2023). Together with Pierce Siebers, he wrote the music for A Very Potter Senior Year (2012), Ani: A Parody (2014), as well the Tin Can Brothers’ musical Spies Are Forever (2016). In addition to theatrical work, he composes music for advertising, including spots for M&Ms, PetSmart, ESPN, and Apple.

Brian Holden
Brian Holden is a founding member of StarKid Productions, and has been involved in every production through the company’s 15 year history as either a writer, actor, director, or producer! He is an award winning audiobook narrator, having lent his voice to nearly 100 different titles. Chicago is home for Brian, where you may find him on one of the city’s many improv comedy stages.

Lauren Lopez
Lauren is a founding member of Team StarKid and is thrilled to be back in London! She has worked as an actor and acting coach in Chicago, New York City and LA. You can follow her on Patreon, Twitter (LaurenLopez1), Insta (slowpez8) and TikTok (slowpez88). Whitney and Lochan 4 Ever!!!
