Bloody Elle: A Gig Musical is the must-see new one-woman show from Lauryn Redding, coming to the Lyric Theatre in London.
This semi-autobiographical gig musical features original music created live on stage, and is a funny, poetic, and epic exploration of love, class, shame, and beauty in all its complexities.
First seen in 2021 at The Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester, Bloody Elle is a critically acclaimed show which is loud, proud and unapologetically queer.
It’s a story from then, for now: a coming of age and coming out story of Elle – a young, working-class girl from the north of England.
The show has since played in Edinburgh and at Soho Theatre, and was nominated for ‘Best Regional Production’ at the WhatsOnStage Awards 2022.
