Jemma Redgrave is a British actress whose career spans four decades on stage, film and TV. She is known for portraying the title character in four season of Bramwell; playing Kate Stewart in BBC series Doctor Who; playing Amelia in ITV drama Grantchester; and, DI Jill Raymond in BBC procedural Silent Witness. Jemma played Evie Wilcox in the much-loved BAFTA-award-winning Merchant Ivory adaptation of Howards End.
Jemma will star in the world premiere production of Octopolis at Hampstead Theatre.
Jemma studied at LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). She is member of the Redgrave family, a British acting dynasty, spanning five generations. Jemma Redgrave was born on January 14, 1965 in London, England, UK. She was previously married to Timothy Owen.
