Schwartz at 75, a 75th Birthday Concert is a celebration of the music and lyrics of legendary American composer Stephen Schwartz.
The composer of smash-hit shows including Wicked, The Prince of Egypt, Godspell, Pippin, and Children of Eden, and lyricist for Disney movies including Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, join together with Stephen Schwartz himself plus an all-star cast to celebrate the life and work of a Broadway and West End legend.
The cast will include three iconic West End Elphabas from Wicked: Kerry Ellis, Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman; plus Matt Lucas (Les Miserables), Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), Olivier Nominated Alison Jiear (Jerry Springer – The Opera), Rob Houchen (South Pacific), Adam Pearce (The Prince of Egypt), Emma Kingston (Evita), Sharon Rose (Hamilton), Hiba Elchikhe (Aladdin), and Carl Spencer (Hamilton).
Schwartz at 75, a 75th Birthday Concert is playing at the Lyric Theatre in London for two performances only on 17 September 2023.
