★★★★ “Smart and incisive” – The Stage

Operation Epsilon is the gripping, award-winning play by Alan Brody set against the backdrop of World War 2 and the dawn of the atomic age.

Based on actual transcripts of secretly recorded conversations, this once-classified true story, buried in the archives amidst an epic war, is a poignant and thrilling exploration of the ties that bind us to our actions, our decisions, and one another.

Celebrating 10 years since the play premiered in America, this UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse Elephant is filled with explosive possibilities, and shines a light on the ethical complexity of scientific discovery… and its potential for catastrophic consequences.

Directed by Andy Sandberg, an exceptional cast of 11 bring this compelling story to life including Jamie Bogyo (Aspects of Love, Moulin Rouge! The Musical) and Nathaniel Parker (The Inspector Lynley Mysteries).

Operation Epsilon is playing at Southwark Playhouse Elephant in London from 15 September to 21 October 2023.
