West End icon Maria Friedman stars in hit Broadway musical Kimberly Akimbo at Hampstead Theatre in London.

Winner of 5 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Kimberly Akimbo is the hot new musical from Tony Award-winner and Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire and Tony Award-winner Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home, Titanic).

Kimberly Akimbo is a coming age story of Kim, a bright and funny teen, who happens to look like a 72-year-old lady. Brimming with hope, heartache and humour this new musical is not to be missed.

This European premiere is directed by Michael Longhurst (Caroline, or Change, Between Riverside and Crazy and Gloria), and stars three-time Olivier Award-winner Maria Friedman (Passion, Ragtime, The Sound of Music).

Joining Maria Friedman in the cast includes West End powerhouse Alice Fearn (Wicked, Come From Away) as Debra.
