Riotous comedyThe Crown Jewels is coming to the West End’s Garrick Theatre this summer.
From the writer of The Durrells and director of The Upstart Crow, this hilarious new comedy stars Al Murray, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Neil Morrisey, Joe Thomas and Mel Giedroyc.
The show is based on the incredible true story of how a charismatic and unpredictable Colonel planned the greatest heist of all time – stealing the Crown Jewels during the reign of King Charles II. With a gang of misfits by his side, what could possibly go wrong?
An all star cast is led by comedian and actor Al Murray (Al Murray The Pub Landlord) as King Charles II, with West End star Carrie Hope Fletcher (Cinderella) , Joe Thomas (The Inbetweeners), Mel Giedroyc (Company), and Neil Morrissey (Men Behaving Badly, The Good Karma Hospital, Line of Duty).
The Crown Jewels is written by award-winning TV and stage writer Simon Nye (Men Behaving Badly, The Durrells) and directed by multi Olivier Award winner Sean Foley (Upstart Crow).
It would be criminal to miss this raucous royal affair!
The Crown Jewels is playing at the Garrick Theatre from 7 July to 16 September 2023.
