The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button musical to return to London

New folk musical The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button is heading back to London.

The show premiered at Southwark Playhouse in 2019, and is heading back there – this time to Southwark’s brand new venue Southwark Playhouse Elephant.

The show is based on a short story from F. Scott Fitzgerald – him of The Great Gatsby fame, and most people know the story from David Fincher’s 2008 movie starring Brad Pitt as a man who ages in reverse, and with Cate Blanchett as his love interest.

Billed as an “extraordinary, heart-wrenching, and timeless tale of a love that defies all odds”, the show is adapted, written and directed by Jethro Compton (Wolf’s Blood), and with songs by Darren Clark (These Trees Are Made of Blood, The Wicker Husband).

The show’s producers, Jethro Compton Productions, have been promoting the show on social media.

There isn’t any new on specific dates or casting, but check back for details or sign-up for news alerts.
