Full cast announced for Ain’t Too Proud at the Prince Edward Theatre

Final casting has been announced for the West End premiere of Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations.

Ain’t Too Proud begins performances on 31 March 2023 at the Prince Edward Theatre in London.

As previously announced, The Tony Award-winning musical will star Cameron Bernard Jones as Melvin Franklin, Kyle Cox as Paul Williams, Sifiso Mazibuko as Otis Williams, Tosh Wanogho-Maud as David Ruffin and Mitchell Zhangazha as Eddie Kendricks.

Ain’t Too Proud is the incredible true story of The Temptations – the greatest R&B group of all time, following the remarkable journey of the group from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The show won the 2019 Tony Award for Best Choreography, and includes the hits My Girl, Just My Imagination, Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone and more.

Ain’t Too Proud has a book by playwright Dominique Morisseau and reunites two-time Tony Award winning director Des McAnuff with Tony and Olivier Award winning choreographer Sergio Trujilio (Jersey Boys).

Scenic design is by Robert Brill, Costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, projection design by Peter Nigrini, Hair and Wig design by Charles G. LaPointe, Music Supervision and Arrangements are by Kenny Seymour, Orchestrations by Harold Wheeler and Music Direction by Matt Smith.
