Producers of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in London have dropped a teaser video to celebrate the announcement of their new cast.
The teaser features BAFTA Award winner Aimee Lou Wood, who will play Sally Bowles in the show from 13 February 2023. Joining her is Everybody’s Talking About Jamie stage star John McCrea as The Emcee.
The new cast also features Nathan Ives-Moiba (As You Like It, My Children My Africa) as Cliff Bradshaw.
The current cast includes Callum Scott Howells (It’s A Sin) as The Emcee and Madeline Brewer (Orange is the New Black, The Handmaid’s Tale) as Sally Bowles, and they finish up in the show on 28 January 2023. Sid Sagar’s final performance as Cliff Bradshaw will be 11 February 2023.
Between 30 January 2023 – 11 February 2023 the role of The Emcee will be played by Matthew Gent (Sweeney Todd, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) and the role of Sally Bowles will be played by Emily Benjamin. At certain performances the role of ‘Sally Bowles’ will be played by Sally Frith.
