Luke Thompson

Luke Thompson stars in Love’s Labour’s Lost at the RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Best known for his role as series regular Benedict Bridgerton in the popular Netflix drama, Luke Thompson has just won the WhatsOnStage award for Best Supporting Performer in a Play for A Little Life (Harold Pinter Theatre/Savoy Theatre).

Luke Thompson’s theatre credits include King Lear (Duke of York’s Theatre), Hamlet (Almeida Theatre and Harold Pinter Theatre), The Oresteia (Almeida Theatre and Trafalgar Studios), and, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Nomination for the Evening Standard Most Promising Newcomer), Julius Caesar and The Broken Heart (all at Shakespeare’s Globe/Sam Wanmaker Playhouse).

For TV, Luke’s work includes Bridgerton (as series regular Benedict Bridgerton),  Transatlantic, Kiss Me First, In the Club, and The Suspicions of Mr Whicher.

On film, his work includes Misbehaviour, Making Noise Quietly and Dunkirk.
