Brand new West End shows opening in March 2022 in London

A run down on all of the shows opening on the London stage in March 2022.

March sees three high-profile and star-led plays opening in London.

One of the biggest is British TV and movie star Ruth Wilson (The Affair) starring in a revival of Jean Cocteau’s heartbreaking play The Human Voice (pictured) at the Harold Pinter Theatre, directed byIvo van Hove.

Also in March, two famous movie stars appear on stage together in COCK at the Ambassador’s Theatre:Olivier Award winner and Bridgerton heart-throb Jonathan Bailey stars alongside Golden Globe winner and Rocketman star Taron Egerton in Mike Bartlett’s play, directed by multi-award winning directorMarianne Elliott (Company, War Horse).

And if this wasn’t enough, Aaron Sorkin’s (The West Wing) Tony Award-winning adaptation of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird is coming to the Gielgud Theatre in March, starring Rafe Spall as  Atticus Finch. The play is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, who also brings his acclaimed production of My Fair Lady to the London Coliseum in May.
