Felicity Kendal and Maureen Lipman will star in Peter Shaffer’s comedy Lettice and Lovage

Trevor Nunn directs the comedy about an eccentric tour guide Lettice (Kendal) who falls foul of her boss (Lipman) when caught providing ‘alternative facts’ about the stately home she work in.

Best known for the 1970’s series The Good Life, Kendal’s extensive stage work includes the recent Theatre Royal Bath production of A Room With a View and West End productions of Hay Fever (Duke of York’s), Relatively Speaking (Wyndham’s), The Last Cigarette (Trafalgar Studios) and The Vortex (Apollo).

Maureen Lipman was last seen the London stage in My Mother Said I Never Should at the St James Theatre.

Lettice and Lovage will run from 4 May 2017 until 8 July 2017 at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
