Smash-hit musical ANNIE comes to the Piccadilly Theatre.

The much-loved musical ANNIE returns to West End for a limited engagement starring Miranda Hart.

The award-winning writer and star of smash-hit TV shows Miranda and Call the Midwife makes her West End debut as the tyrannical Miss Hannigan.

With its award-winning book and score, this stunning new production includes the unforgettable songs ‘It’s the Hard Knock Life’, ‘Easy Street’, ‘I Don’t Need Anything But You’ and ‘Tomorrow’.

ANNIE – The Musical will run from 23 May 2017 until 18 February 2018 at the Piccadilly Theatre.

THE STORY

Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage.

Determined to find her real parents, her luck changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the residence of famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks.

Spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search…

THE CAST

Miranda Hart will play Miss Hannigan alongside Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Holly Dale Spencer as Grace Farrell, Jonny Fines as Rooster and Djalenga Scott as Lily.

The title role of Annie will be shared by Madeleine Haynes, Lola Moxom and Ruby Stokes.

They will be joined by three teams of young performers who will play the girls in Miss Hannigan’s orphanage

Directed by Nikolai Foster, set and costume design by Colin Richmond, choreography by Nick Winston, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound design by Richard Brooker.
