Theatre Royal Bath’s forthcoming production of A Room With A View starring Felicity Kendal considers West End run.

Whilst not confirmed, providing the production is well received it will join the well trodden path of previous Theatre Royal Bath productions to the bright lights of the West End.

Theatre Royal Bath have had a string of West End transfers over the last few years including Hobson’s Choice, currently playing at the Vaudeville Theatre, Mrs Henderson Presents, the award-winning The Father, Hay Fever which starred Kendal and the upcoming transfer of The Libertine starring Dominic Cooper.

A romantic comedy, E M Forster’s classic novel has been adapted by Simon Reeve and will be directed by Adrian Noble.

Kendal stars as uptight spinster, cousin Charlotte, famously portrayed by Maggie Smith in the iconic 1985 Merchant Ivory film which also starred Helena Bonham Carter, Judi Dench and Denholm Elliott.

A Room With A View runs from 28 September 2016 until 8 October 2016 at Theatre Royal Bath, prior to a West End transfer.
