Alfie Allen, star of the hit television series Game of Thrones and Olivier Award-winning Katie Brayben will join the cast of The Spoils.

Allen and Brayben join the previously announced Jessie Eisenberg and Kunal Nayyar in the European premiere of Eisenberg’s off-Broadway comedy. Also joining the cast will be Annapurna Sriram who reprises her role from the Broadway production.

Allen will make his West End debut in The Spoils; he was last on stage in the national tour of Equus.

Katie Brayben is currently starring opposite Marueen Lipman in My Mother Said I Never Should at the St James Theatre. She previously starred in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical at the Aldwych Theatre, for which she won the Olivier Award in 2015. Other theatre credits include King Charles III at the Almeida Theatre/Wynham’s Theatre, American Psycho at the Almeida Theatre, Ragtime The Musical and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park, and Company at Southwark Playhouse.

A painfully awkward comedy, The Spoils is a satirical glimpse of a lost soul searching to assent the reality of his situation. Perceptively disconcerting, The Spoils speaks to the exasperated, self-analysing millennial generation.

The Spoils is directed by Scott Elliott, with set design by Derek McLane, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Lee Curran, sound design by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen and projection design by Olivia Sebesky.

The Spoils runs from 27 May 2016 until 13 August 2016 at Trafalgar Studios.
