Full casting has been announced for the forthcoming musical production of The Go-Between starring Michael Crawford.

Issy Van Randwyck will play alongside Crawford as Mrs Maudsley, while Stuart Ward and Gemma Sutton will take on the roles of young lovers Ted and Marian.
Luka Green, William Thompson and Johnny Evans Hutchison will alternate the role of young Leo Colston.

Julian Forsyth, Stephen Carlile, Silas Wyatt-Barke, Jenni Bowden, John Addison, Archie Stevens, Matty Norgren, Samuel Menhinick, Jane Quinn, Jessica Duncan, Robert Traynor, and Michael Colbourne complete the cast.

The Go-Between marks Crawford’s return to theatre following his 2011 role in The Wizard of Oz.

Gemma Sutton most recently starred in the Olivier-winning revival of ‘Gypsy’ at the Savoy Theatre where she originated the role of June and went on to take over the role of Louise for the final weeks of the production.

Stuart Ward recently played the role of ‘Guy’ in ‘Once the Musical’ on US tour and at the Phoenix Theatre in London.

The Go-Between is a musical adaptation of an LP Hartley novel by David Wood, which tells the story Leo Colston (played by Crawford) who remembers a long hot summer of 1900 when he acted as a go-between for the upper class Marian and her tenant-farmer lover.

The Go-Between will play from 27 May 2016 until 15 October 2016 at the Apollo Theatre.
